Refuge Students

At Refuge Church, we are devoted to seeing a generation of students who are connected in a life-giving relationship with Jesus, and planted and thriving in the local church. Our desire is to lead students through the same process we are all going through here at Refuge–being pastored in small groups, trained through Next Steps, and empowered to live out our purpose through the Dream Team of our church.

Our Sunday morning services will be designed with students in mind. Our goal is to have a service that is appealing and applicable to students as well as adults.

Here are some different ways your student can be involved:

Refuge Students small groups will be the connection to authentic discipleship, new friendships, and tons of fun. In good times and bad, small groups are the source of life-giving relationships and support. Students will never experience all that Refuge has to offer until they connect in a small group:

High School & College Small Group – Meets various times throughout the semester.  This is a great way for your high school or college student to connect and make new friends. Contact for more details.

Middle School Small Group – Sundays at 9:15 at Providence Elementary School in Huntsville: Come hang out with other middle school students as we dig into God’s Word, make new friends, and do life together. Contact for details.

Middle School & High School Groups – Wednesdays at 6pm at 1412 Lindsay Lane (Athens Campus) in Athens: Come hang out with other middle school and high school students as we make new friends, grow in our faith, and have fun doing it! Contact for details.

Students will never be more fulfilled than when they are serving in their passion, gifting, and purpose every day. The Dream Team is a vehicle full of opportunities for students to identify their strengths and use them to live out their faith through vibrant service here, in the local church.
